GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction, job budgeting, job scheduling, cost controlling, documentation, and reporting for all assigned projects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  1. Has general knowledge of construction operations.
  2. Ability to read and understand plans.
  3. General estimating abilities.
  4. Able to deliver professionally written and verbal correspondences with customers, vendors, and employees.
  5. Effective listening skills to understand what our customers are looking for as a contractor and/or a subcontractor.
  6. The ability to communicate the needs of our customers to our employees.
  7. Have a positive attitude when faced with challenges.
  8. Work in an organized and proactive manner.
  9. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  10. Excellent interpersonal skills
  11. Valid Driver’s License; will travel 20 – 35% of the time, to job sites and project locations, as required

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

High school or equivalent (Preferred), Minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager and/or related industry Superintendent.

  9. Outdoor work in all types of weather conditions and exposure to the elements; including heavy to moderate noise and extreme proximity to moving equipment or machinery, electrical energy, and tools and machines regularly used in construction

  • Attend weekly or Bi-weekly progress meetings.
  • Attend punch list job walks as nee
  • Attend all other meetings needed or requested by our customers.
  1. Team Member Supervision
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of project plans and specifications.
  • Help Project Superintendents to execute the scope of work detailed in all assigned projects within budget and on schedule.
  • Monitor the quality of service and cost of all sub-contractors and vendors on assigned jobs.
  • Communicate with the General Manager any hiring needs and jobsite tools and equipment needs
